Is the a program that can bridge LToUDP to EtherTalk? I have a couple of Macs setup with EtherTalk and that would let me connect a PowerBook over AirTalk and connect with them.
If not, maybe it wouldn't be too hard for me to write. Hmmmm.
Macs with the correct extensions can read and write to ProDOS formatted 800k floppies. The IIgs, IIc, and IIc plus have serial ports and you can use serial transfer programs like ADT to move files back and forth. One thing to note is that the IIc uses a larger socket, but there are adapters...
You cannot use a Mac monitor as they work on different horizontal frequencies. Shame on Apple for using the same connector.
Any composite TV should work, I don't see why the apple composite monitor wouldn't. As long as you use the composite video port on the IIgs. It will be lower resolution...
On Cue is a pretty sweet utility.
For the Finder windows it looks like the previous owner is using this program to make the window resemble NeXT windows. https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/erics-wdef
@Crutch There's a nice MAME frontend called Ample specifially for running Macs and Apple computers. It Presents options in drop downs and also shows you the cli flags configured. https://github.com/ksherlock/ample
Maybe an obvious question that you've already done, but have you tried cleaning it with a cleaning floppy? It sounds like the drive is mostly working, but maybe the heads are dirty.
I bought a 02E31F MC68040RC40 from ericwoosrarechips on eBay and it was exactly as advertised, not remarked and fully functional. Out of stock right now but more do appear now and then. https://www.ebay.com/itm/383675636030

I just did a comparison between 2.0 and 2.1 with ResCompare and diff and found very few changes:
The only program that is changed is Edit. 7 CODE resources are different, most being around 100 bytes longer. The DITL resource for the About box says version 2.1. Finally, the STRG resource is...

I can't find the assembler software around, but i was able to find some discussions and example code.
The devnote for the Quadra AV has an overview https://cdn.preterhuman.net/texts/computing/apple_hardware_devnotes/Centris 660AV-Quadra 840AV.pdf
There's some example code here...
Oh that's great news! I will look for the issue on my board too. I haven't worked on my broken 180 much recently, excited to see if i have the same problem.
I have a 180 that is doing the same thing. However, I don't think it's the screen that's bad. When i turn it on i get the screen with the horizontal lines, and no sound. If i press the reset button then the lines will change and i can also hear the hard drive spin up and seek. I tried powering...

DissBits fade sounds a lot like the one the Wolfenstein 3D does when you get a game over. There's a nice write up about how it works with some simple sample code here https://fabiensanglard.net/fizzlefade/index.php
