Nothing special about the switch - I got mine from a local eBay seller.. He has measurements on the page so you should be able to find something to fit.

Check the pots are still operating correctly with your meter. I can't recall the specs off top of head, other than PP1 which is 220 ohms - but they should have it written on them.
Hi, resurrecting the dead here, but I'm also trying to resurrect a dead "Apple Singapore" SE/30 PSU. I recapped it recently as it was drowning in cap juice. However it's still putting out about half the voltage it should be (on both 5V and 12V lines). I've found a suspect resistor that is...
So the drive has now been fully disassembled. New eject gear, everything lubed and oiled appropriately. The Mac will now happily, and quickly boot as well. But the issue is still the inject/eject. It operates freely in my hand - everything butter smooth, but disks get caught in that back left...
Even the 800K's don't all have the same inject/eject mech. The two I have here are different in that regard. Also there's at least 3 versions of the eject motor setup I've seen. Like Pokemon's - gotta collect them all! :)
Well the zero track on both the 512Ke and Plus look identical. I did manage to determine the drive *can* work - I booted from FloppyEmu and inserted disk into the drive and did eventually mount the disk correctly - it just doesn't want to boot from it.
Also has anyone documented the slight...
I will need to buy some "newer" machines to use it on.. only have a Plus and a 512Ke currently.. :)
The carts mine came with are:
* CPU Tests Vol 3, v 1.0
* CPU Tests Vol 1, v 1.1.1
* SCSI HD Tests, v 1.0
The display on mine is very dim - I'm hoping I can replace it with a more recent 1604...
I didn't touch the zero track sensor - but will compare to my Plus - good idea.
Would prefer to get it working with its original drive, but if that isn't possible will look at the later models as an option.
Cheers,
