    Powerbook 145B 8MB RAM Q

That’s exactly my use case! I ran Symantec C++ in college on my old IIci. I’d like to run it on this PowerBook. Did you get the 6MB module? I assume the 145 sees it as 4, for a total of 8?

    PowerBook 145 Battery

Thank you for the suggestion! How did you open the battery? It looks like the two halves of the plastic case might be glued? Mine is toast—I can’t get it to hold a useful charge at all, sadly.

    Powerbook 145B 8MB RAM Q

Ah, great catch, fellas. Seller advertised 8MB, but didn't show the "about" dialog. I totally forgot System 7 had VM. My Finnish is crap, but the upper button for VM is clearly clicked, and using google translate I get "ON" for virtual memory. Darn.

    Powerbook 145B 8MB RAM Q

I just received a PowerBook 145B I bought that came with a Finnish System 7.1 install on it. Since I can't read Finnish, I dragged a System/Finder 7.1 set from a clean install of 7.1 (off 1.44MB floppies) onto the HD, and it booted as expected with English as the language. However, it is only...

Awesome, thank you! I’ll give it a try and report back later today :)

TashTwenty: Single-Chip DCD (Hard Disk 20) Interface

Ah, thanks! Missed that. I flashed your 1704 image with ApplePiBaker, and it's alive! I tested on my SE FDHD and it works great. R/W LED still isn't flashing, but the drive seems to work OK. I have a nice System 3.2 ~100MB image I use with my 512k using the FloppyEmu in HD20 mode, any...

TashTwenty: Single-Chip DCD (Hard Disk 20) Interface

I finally had some time to sit down and solder, and made up the TashTwenty Tiny this morning along with some Pico stuff I'm working on. I dropped the 1825 image from the thread above on a FAT-formatted SD-card, and... nothing. The green power light comes on, but the access light never does...

Announcing ZuluSCSI - A file-based SCSI device emulator

@rabbitholecomputing I'm still looking for a SD-Based SCSI for my Powerbook. Can you comment on when the ZuluSCSI PowerBook Edition will be available? I also emailed your shop last week, with no response.

    Apple Lisa 2 value

If you don't want it, let me know as I may. I have recently started doing 68k Mac dev again and I'd love to go back to the time to simulate when a Lisa was required to dev for the Mac. It would make a sweet addition to my vintage desk which has a 512k and a SE atm.

    IIc+ compatibility

I just bought a IIc plus. I’ve been wanting one since they were the hot (and little did I know at the time last) Apple II release. I was a IIgs user at the time, so didn’t really need one, but I’ve always liked the IIc form factor. I’ve enjoyed it so far, although I’m having a problem with...

    PowerBook 145 Battery

Hello, all! I have enjoyed putting my original SE back to work so much that I have a nice PowerBook 145B incoming for a mobile setup. I would like to get a step ahead with a fresh battery, as I’m sure the original is toast. Ive done some searching here and see references to a 3-d printed...
