Have there been any developments at all in transferring items to the tashtari or the sd card via a modern Mac or PC? I recall that the original method revolved around using the Terminal to format and transfer a pre-made image.
The Lisa, Apple IIc, and Apple IIe, all used interchangeable mice, in addition to the 128k, 512k, and the Plus, although their designs all differed slightly. Doesn't help with the keyboard though.
Supposedly it's the fire retardant in the original plastic that leads to it aging poorly and becoming brittle. It's being omitted from the formulation of the new ones.
I had managed to find one back in February 2022 on eBay for $35 before t&s, but it was the only one left at the time iirc. The seller was "eclectrons" (though they seem to have changed their name to emlieproducts). A quick search just now on ebay reveals a couple of listings for the manual, but...
Congrats! I have one that was in similar shape, including leaves and debris inside, and a rusty backing plate. It's all cleaned up, although the keyboard membrane was also damaged, so many of the keys don't work properly. The membrane doesn't *appear* damaged, but obviously something's not...
