Power Computing Video Output Not Displaying

Awesome, then try cleaning the cache card contacts and try it in there. It does boost the 604 cpu as those don't have a built in L2 cache and instead use cache slot. But if you get a G3 or G4 upgrade card you won't need the module.

Power Computing Video Output Not Displaying

My Powercenter pro did not have a vga enable jumper either. Had a similar issue before, and it ended up being the power supply being on its way out. You can use any standard ATX power supply with that machine (with the 20 pin connector, or 20+4pin and ignore the 4 pin part). One person had an...

Does anyone have a 7500 ROM SIMM and if not are there modern day programable ones?

I looked on ebay, there are a bunch of 7200 logic board listings under $60 that look like they have the rom simm on them. Maybe cross reference with a layout/picture to make sure its not the cache card. https://www.ebay.com/itm/161262787915 https://www.ebay.com/itm/161396496508...

Does anyone have a 7500 ROM SIMM and if not are there modern day programable ones?

They are Power computing branded so I don't know. Also I did swap the rom's around once and they both worked, although one has a newer date to it, so I'll have to boot into open firmware at some point and see what the difference is. First one is Powerwave PCI/Nubus Mac clone & rom dimm, second...

Does anyone have a 7500 ROM SIMM and if not are there modern day programable ones?

My Powercenter Pro mac clone has a apple branded rom socketed dimm. I also have a Power Computing Powerwave motherboard (just the board, missing the combo riser that had nubus and pci slots) and it has a rom dimm also. The Powercenter is catalyst based and the other tsunami, which I believe is...

Core Image comes to the Old World!

As Darth said, it works! Here is the core image ripple effect in OSX 10.4.11 on my oldworld mac: Power Computing "PowerTower Pro" (aka Tsunami based / PowerMac 9500, OpenFirmware 1.05) with a Newer Tech G3 400MHz card, and BFG Geforce 6200 pci edition..
