Sorry I don't know of any schematics, but I do have a couple of capacitor lists here:
https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/iici-power-supply-recap-and-component-identification.41364/post-448397
The lists are for the following ASTEC models: AA15830 and AA15831
Happy I could help, and it's good yours worked! Unfortunately for me, only one my two power supplies worked after the recaps. The working one was the AA15831 model, which is obviously not the same one you have. I have the non-working one stored away... maybe someday I will learn enough about...
I have some old images from a couple of different angles. It looks like brown, black, black, gold. But I'm not totally sure on the blacks. They could be blue. I'll see if I can get a better view tomorrow.
I searched the interwebs for another image of R325, but all were blurry so I took apart my PSU. I took another image and it looks red here; it also looks red when looking at the resistor with my eyes.
Now you have me second guessing myself... I think we need confirmation from someone else. Unfortunately my PSU is not in a position for me to look directly.
From what I can tell these power supplies vary quite a bit in terms of components, even between power supplies that have the same model number. However, I think a capacitor list may still be useful to others.
The following is for ASTEC AA15830
Cap #
Description
lead spacing
length
width...
Thank you @Byrd for the great information!
There doesn't appear to be any visual defects on the capacitors that I asked about, so I will take your advice and leave them alone.
I do plan on replacing as many of the electrolytics and RIFAs as possible. Hopefully that brings these power supplies...
I am recapping two different IIci power supplies, and am having trouble identifying some components.
The first looks like a film capacitor. It is the rectangular shaped black component in the first photo with marking 2.0 uF 5%.
In the second photo, there are many yellow rectangular components...
