I first tried that approach for a year and it had no impact. The LCD behavior doesn't really follow moisture, both pre and post baking. I think moisture success stories are too anecdotal to be useful.

I can see that with motherboards, esp since they can have lead solder. I think the LCD panel is pretty clean having a metal housing and glass plating.

Don't know...but my wife and I are still kicking around and the extra arm that's growing out of my back has been useful :) I don't think it's heated enough to release lots of chemicals into an oven.
