What if I tell you that I've got a japanese boxed version of CDC ?Yes! Snagged Color Dark Castle off eBay. Maybe I paid too much, but I've been looking for this one for a long time. I have the manual for the game, but no disks. Which is fine cuz almost all of Delta Tao's games shipped with just the manual and disks shrinkwrapped.
I'm curious about the 2 B&W disks. If they're just copies, someone went out of their way with those labels. I'm kinda hoping they're update disks. Either way, I can't wait.
Unfortunately, it did not come with the B&W floppies.

It seems that the dialog boxes are translated in Japanese from what I can see in the manual. I did not yet tested it on my Mac.
The box itself is quite strange for me, it’s like a VHS tape box. So the scan will be quite easy as it is simply an insert in the plastic box.
Will scan and share asap.

Did I miss anything? I bought the original Dark Castle and Beyond Dark Castle directly from Silicon Beach Software (they mailed me the disks), and didn't realize they were available in other flavours / for other platforms for years....

@adespoton Delta Tao updated and published the original Dark Castle as well when they got the rights to do Color Dark Castle.
I would love to get originals Dark Castle and BDC ...
