Signatures
Want a fancy signature of your own? We've created a few styles to make this simpler for you. Grab the test text, paste it into your user page, and get the corresponding style's name once you've picked which one you like. Head to your preferences and check the box for "raw signature". Enter something like "<span style="STYLENAME">-- [[User:LOGINNAME|DISPLAYNAME]]</span>" (without the quote marks, and replacing the CAPITALS as appropriate) in the text box, and save. (Your display name can be the same as your login name, but it doesn't have to be.) Now, whenever you type ~~~~ to sign a talk page, this fancy signature will be used. You can, of course, specify your own fonts to use, but some effort has gone into creating these styles so that it will look pretty similar across most computers.
