Wikipedia has more information about Executor (software).

Executor is an implementation of the Toolbox and Old World ROM functions that allows for many System 6/7 applications to run on non-Macintosh systems. It does not rely on any Apple software, so is in that sense similar to the better-known WINE. Since 2008, the source code has been released under an MIT-style open source license.
