Something fun and trivial

Not really 68k Macs, but certainly Vintage!

Something fun and trivial

Here's a disk image containing my rendering of the multicoloured Apple logo in Lo Res graphics mode. It looks okay on an emulator, but the cheap antialiasing really pays off on a real screen.

Applesoft is fun!

Luddite,

This makes me wonder if you've been following the discussion on CSA2 about the lores Apple logo.

Why yes, this is the logo I did in response to limtc's posts... I go by my real name on usenet (Simon Williams) for some odd reason. I just thought I'd post here for the benefit of those who don't frequent CSA2

* sniff * That logo made my head swim very fast...* sigh * Apple II is so sweet * sigh * * sniff, sniff * The good old days. I would BUY NEW APPLE II GAMES if they make them. Apple II is the best computer when it comes to platform games * sigh * Can anyone here name all the BEST PLATFORM ARCADE games out there? It would be greatly appreciate it.

I wouldn't know about the best platformer of all time for the Apple II, unless you might consider the Lode Runner series to be it (you can find the disk images for Lode Runner at the Asimov archive), but there is a NEW apple II game I know of. It's written by David Schmenk and it's called Ecape from the Homebrew Computer Club. You can read about it here:

http://a2central.com/?p=1312

and there is also a link in that article to download the disk image.
