Nubus bonanza!

Postby Bunsen » 03 May 2007, 06:25

Hi <Bunsen>

If you don't remember me, I'm <that guy> from eBay. How's the 9500 going?

You may be interested in the following gear. ... I prefer old Apple stuff to go to a good home if possible, and you seem like a lover of old Apple stuff, so I'm giving you first option if you are
interested.

1 x Apple portrait monitor with video and NuBus video card

A few video cables for two-page mono display and
2 x NuBus video cards for same

1 x RasterOps NuBus 24STV 1.1 < }:) >

1 x RasterOps NuBus video card - not sure which model, but has chips on both sides

1 x RasterOps NuBus video card - this one has chips on both sides of the board plus it has a daughterboard < }:) >

1 x NuBus Ethernet card with AAUI connector

1 x SuperMac NuBus Spigot card < }:) >

1 x what I think may be a Quadra PDS slot PPC upgrade < }:) >

If you would like to to take all this gear off my hands, you can have it for
$30.00, and I can deliver it to you.

Cheers,
<that guy>

Lucky you. I bet the Rasterops Nubus video card with chips on both sides and daughterboard is the mediatime card. I have one but without the daughtercard, think its called a moviepak or moviepak 2 card.

Take some pics when you get them if its not too much of a bother.

Do you have drivers?

Oh yes, pics and/or scans will be forthcoming.

Does the MediaTime card use the "VideoTime" drivers?

On my mirrors site, I've got MoviePak, MoviePak II, and VideoTime.

The Knight Tech mirror should have the drivers. Would like to see the pics to make sure what your cards are.

Mediatime card has audio in/out as well as video in/out. Generally videotime should work with all the Rasterops cards with video input.

There is a video expander box that you need for the video in/out on the mediatime cards.

I grabbed the Knight-Tech mirror, as well as the RadiusVintage mirror, and merged-n-purged the files so it's like both at once. :-)

Anytime I see a card I want or get something new in I go looking for the drivers. Now that my cable modem has been replaced, I might seriously think of setting up the LC3 as a hotline server and put the drivers there.
