I'm suspicious of the claim that R41 and R47 have never been removed from the board.

There is clearly solder flux residue present at one end of both resistors - something that you never see on an Apple board as it comes from the factory. R41 in particular looks to have been hand soldered (soldered joints lack the uniformity present when wave soldered).

Um, I'm pretty sure selling stuff on eBay is *good* for the collector community. I've gotten *all* of my best stuff off eBay, and guess what, I had to pay a lot for the really good stuff.

So, for the high price tag, well, rare systems should be expensive, no? And if they go for big bucks, they're much more likely to be handled with kid gloves and still in good shape 20 years from now.

Anyways, your ill wishes go a little to far to be humorous, IMO.
Software preservation is paramount.
