Not really 68k Macs, but certainly Vintage!

Mountain Computer Music System

Grrr! It's coming back to me now... my old Mountain Music cards don't work in a //e. They only work in a ][ or ][ Plus. I guess I have to find a keyboard for my Apple ][. The //e I rescued recently isn't going to fly as host for the alphaSyntauri. :(

Anybody know if there are Mountain Computer Music cards that are Apple//e compatible? The Syntauri manuals seem to think so.

Hmm... I could be very wrong, but I think I remember that if you put the cards in an UNenhanced IIe it will still work.

I'm pretty sure my good friend that had one used his MCMS that way.. I would have remembered if he had a II or II+ unit..
The "upgraded" system I know for a fact works only in the Uneenhanced IIe as the latest it would go, but that is a MX-5 single board synth card..

Good luck, If I remember anything else, I'll post back. One day I would love to use my Soundchaser again in freeplay mode.. Still looking for Turbo-Trax for that setup. But if you need the chord/ear training software. THAT I can gladly hook you up with.

Mine usually reside in a ][+, but I've had them working in an unenhanced IIe. Never tried a newer one.
