I won a working G4 MDD (867mhz DP, 512MB, 60GB) for $37 shipped on ebay, should be here this week. After a few upgrades this will probably be the newest Mac I ever get (if I can't run OS 9 on it I don't want it).

Also got a Thinkpad T20 for something like $8 last week (it needed a HD) and a Thinkpad A30 a few days before that (needed an LCD transplant from a junker I had). P3 Thinkpads rock!
Favorites: big box Mac IIs, 950, 800's
Wanted: Anything Nubus, Video capture and editing hardware and software for 68k mac. Original software including A/UX.
Looking for 9150, Mac II, Color classic, 840av motherboard, and Nubus cards.

$100USD was for a ][ Plus. The IIe's were cheaper. He looked up recent auction sales for an original Apple ][ and found one at $850! 8-O

Picked up a few things -

a Power Macintosh G3 mini tower (266MHz/256MB/60GB) for $10
a (working!) 30GB 2.5" external firewire drive (Smartdisk FireLite) for 50 cents
a Zip 100 Plus drive and two Zip disks for $2
an external Panasonic SCSI CD-ROM drive (KXL-D720) for $1. This one is black and looks good with the NeXTStation Turbo 8-)

That's good find for SCSI2 and really cheap. Put a picture on your site with the drive so we can see how it looks like? Perfect match?

Well, I don't have a NexStation, but I do have one of those Panasonic portable CD-ROMs I could be convinced to part with. :-)

Actually, two... one with speakers and one without, though I only have one PCMCIA card.

Forgot to post that I picked up a $10 266MHZ Wallstreet II for parts last week. Seems to work alright but it has a bad LCD and a hole in every plastic piece due to a drop.

Found software install sets for my Dual USB iBook G3 and GigE PowerBook G4 today.

Yes. A well used-one would have the silver worn off where the user's hands rested on the case, just below the keyboard.

It has a vinyl cover with it so I assume that's why it looks as good as it does. It smells like old garage.

If I put it next to the Apple IIe and the Apple ///, the room will start to look like my Jr. High computer lab.

Ah HA! SUCCESS!

Next step: find software to use with it. I wonder if ADT would work to write TRS-80 disk images on the Apple IIe? Anyone?

ADT is designed to write out 16-sector disk images. Are TRS-80 disks in 16-sector format?

Good question. To be honest, I'm pretty unfamiliar with the Tandy systems. They were there in school but everyone used the Apple IIs so I don't have a lot of exposure. Time to start some research tonight.

One can never have too much of such stuff! Good find! That MacBottom-drive is really good find also. Rarely see those, atleast here.

Quicktake would be interesting, mm.. maybe need to start looking for one. Thanks for the tip. Haven't seen those for ages (we sold few of those back in time), never seen eMate. Possibly not even sold here.

The Studio Display is one of the original dark blue LCD displays with the old DB 15-pin Macintosh video connector. I'll use it with the Power Macintosh G3 then!
