200 - 800K floppies for FREE! Some original Apple

My Dad was going through some stuff and found a bunch of 800K floppies. He figured I could use them and tossed them in the mail. I just got them today. I opened the box and found an exact 200.

I started flipping through them. Most of them were old work files, etc, but I also found a bunch of originals.

Too bad he wrote on some, but who knew 20 years ago these would be collectible? There was also an original Picasso logo Apple floppy box and lid in the mix!

UPDATE:

My Dad found another hoard of floppies. He also found the missing bottom half of the Picasso floppy disk box. It's in the mail!

UPDATE:

My Dad just sent me another 118 disks along with the missing bottom for the Picasso floppy box.

I now have 2 complete boxes.

I had my SE, Plus, and CC copy all the files over onto Zip disks. It moved along pretty fast with 3 machines cranking them out. I already finished the first batch of 200. I then sneaker-netted the Zip disks over to my Mac Pro. Once I'm done with the second batch of 118, I'll dump everything into an image that my Dad can open up in mini vMac.
