Benevolent Halloween Ghost/print problem fixed?

Though problem of not being able to print in OS 9 occurred over a week before my Nov. 2 post, it's only today that after not doing anything, after selecting my printer in OS 9 Chooser, it's showing up. I'd been checking almost daily, and only today it magically appeared.

Since problem occured, iMac G5 has been restarted a number of times, as well as being left on overnight, as well as much sleep.

What's happening?
