Thought I'd post the finished machine.
All that's left is getting that power button glowing, other than that good to go.
I added a SATA PCI card and dropped a 250GB SATA HDD in the front ZIP slot.
I've got a stack of those from some old Dell's and this seemed like a good home.
The ZIP drive works, and I will keep it with the machine, but I wanted some more storage and I dislike the HDD mounting bracket on top of the PSU.
Now I can swap out quickly if I want to go back to stock or add some other SATA item in the ZIP slot.
The retro-bright was accomplished with a clear tub, about an inch of 12% H2O2, a UV light and a couple of sunny days.
Simply dropped a piece or two at a time in the tub, on a rack without submersing, put the clear lid on the tub and left them in front of a UV light at night, or in the sun during the day. Lots of flipping, but effective.
Thanks to Phipli for the help, advice and control panels/drivers for the video card.
Thanks too to ArmorAlley and Powerbase.
All in all a fun project and probably worth the $52.
