is there a pinout or reference for how the PLCC32 ROMs are connected? trying to verify the connections there but don't exactly understand how they're hooked up to the rest of the system. maybe there's a reason most people just use the SIMM slot...

you'd just want a generic 7.5.5 CD image. The PowerPC upgrade card didn't come with an OS, it just came with a driver disk I believe.

000E is usually a memory issue. have you reseated the RAM SIMMs? moreover, what have you actually done to try and "rescue" it? have you opened it up? sad mac codes are generally vague and barely helpful in my experience.
